Creamy Pasta with Steak If you like creamy pasta with flavorful steak, you might wanna give this a try. Its one of my daughters's favorite dishes that I make and they love it.   Here is a list of ingredients:  1 box Penne Pasta 1 cup of Sun dried tomato 1-2 cups of cheese, I use Romano, pecorino, or parmesan or a mix 2 rib eye steaks 1 smal carton of heavy cream 1 red bell pepper 1 cup of mushrooms sliced 3 cloves of garlic diced 1 shallot For seasoning the steak if you decide to are: 1 table spoon of garlic powder 1 tablespoon of onion powder mesquite smoky flavor  1/3 of a cup of oyster sauce 4 cloves of garlic diced 1 teaspoon of black pepper or white pepper is fine You will mix all the seasoning into a bowl and then rub the marinade on the steak and make sure you get the creases. Char Sui I remember making this once but I don't remember trying someone else recipe but this time around I did use someone else's recipe and it came out great! I think the key to this was actually cooking it. I went to my local asian store to find the ingredients but I am sure if you don't want to leave your house you can get them here on Amazon through my links.  Ingredients to get: You can get these by clicking on them and purchasing on Amazon.  1 Pork Tenderloins 1/2 cup dark soy sauce 1/3 cup honey 1/3 cup of ketchup 1/3 cup of brown sugar 1/4 cup of Chinese rice wine 2 tablespoons of hoisin sauce   1 teaspoon of Chinese five spice powder 2 tablespoons of red food coloring (Optional, I didn't use this as it did not add any flavor just visual) After getting these ingredients, I cut the tenderloins into 4 strips and you can even cut them just to two strips to make it bigger for when you slice it for pork and seeds or cut ...

Looks like my Portland trip will not be happening this month, unfortunately I have a family issue that will need to be taken care of first since family is important. I will have to figure out another time to go out there and see my friends while enjoying the city. I will try to put together my article on my city and state here in the next couple of weeks. I have just been really busy with things here at home so I will try to send it out shortly.

I have been traveling to all these amazing cities and there is one that I didn't even think about. Boise has been attracting so many people, I will do one of Boise and give some of the best spots in my opinion of places to eat, things to do and just a tour of the city. After all why would anyone not do their hometown. So be on the lookout for my next post as it could be Boise or Portland. Portland is coming up and I am excited for it so hopefully you all will like the blogs I write for them. I have been a little  restless these last couple of months as things have kind of been coming to a crash with a friend passing away and getting to these cities. I will try to be more consistent as I know I haven't. This is my first crack at it and I hope you all enjoy reading about my adventures and I am truly blessed to be able to do these kinds of things. 

Utah, home of the honeybees and Mormons. No offense, every time I come here, I feel just like I am in Boise. I do love going to Salt Lake city to see family and the places you can go. People say Salt Lake has nothing to do but I will say there is plenty. I never get to do everything I want there. There is a good population of people from all ethnicities and that brings in all kinds of food. We stayed in West Valley where there is a good amount of Asian food and Mexican food in that area off of Redwood. Kim Thanh market has pretty good Banh Mi sandwiches that we used to take with us to Lagoon in Farmington. Lagoon is a pretty good place to go for a whole day to do rides and hang out in the water park. You also get a chance to look at some history of the pioneer days with old homes, what a small town might of looked like. Lots of culture to take in the park.
