My wife and I went to The Yard House in Meridian for a birthday dinner, and we had a good time there. So here is another review. When we arrived we were taken to our table and the place was packed. The restaurant was pretty dark so I couldn't really see much there. The bathrooms there are one of the nicest bathrooms I have every been in to use. Anyways, so we ordered a half yard of German wheat beer I can't even pronounce, it was very good! The beer cost me about $15. We ordered the spicy Calamari which was called the Kung Pao Calamari.  This was really good, had a nice kick to it but not spicy at all.  It was sweet and the walnuts tasted awesome. We also had a choice of brown rice or jasmine rice. We chose the brown rice and normally I don't like brown rice but I thought this was really good. So last week my family and I went to the Bodacious Pig in downtown Eagle.  When we arrived, the restaurant was empty, the employees were friendly and the restaurant was clean and elegant. We sat down where ever we wanted to and the only thing I can really gripe about is that it was cold in the restaurant. Their system computer was down so they had a hard time taking orders and payments. We ordered some beverages, I had a really good wheat beer call something blonde. I ordered the combination three meat of your choosing.  I chose the ribs, tri tip, and half chicken with my sides of mac and cheese and a baked potato.  It also came with garlic bread and I also ordered an appetizers stuffed potato skins. I know, I know more potatoes right? I just love eating potatoes. so it took a while for us to get our meals and I think the wait was around 30 to 45 minutes. Hi everyone! My name Kevin Phithak and this is my first blog for food reviews. I have worked in the restaurant business and now just enjoy going out to eat at different restaurants.
