Next Adventure

In two days I will be out to Salt Lake City for a little fun in the sun at Lagoon and on the town. I will try to take as many pics as I can. Lagoon is always fun and this weekend they have a special for passes. Father's Day sale for $41.99. Type in code Father18 and you should be able to get it. As my next trip out, this will be more of a family vacation so I hope to hit some of the fun places to eat and check out what else there is to do in the Mormon state. Everyone says its a drag but when I go, I always have a good time out there. People are friendly, a little crazy on driving but overall not as busy as LA's traffic. I love the diversity there and the culture mix of foods there. I'll make my way to some of the best parts of the city and give another update when I come back.

Char Sui to Pork & Seeds

I think the key to this was actually cooking it. I went to my local asian store to find the ingredients but I am sure if you don't want to leave your house you can get them here on Amazon through my links.  Ingredients to get: You can get these by clicking on them and purchasing on Amazon.  1 Pork Tenderloins 1/2 cup dark soy sauce 1/3 cup honey 1/3 cup of ketchup 1/3 cup of brown sugar 1/4 cup of Chinese rice wine 2 tablespoons of hoisin sauce   1 teaspoon of Chinese five spice powder 2 tablespoons of red food coloring (Optional, I didn't use this as it did not add any flavor just visual) After getting these ingredients, I cut the tenderloins into 4 strips and you can even cut them just to two strips to make it bigger for when you slice it for pork and seeds or cut them into 4 p
